SUMMARY
In the case of an insert (1) for a deep fryer with at least one handle element (2) and a bottom element (3), it is proposed that a plurality of flat deep-fried goods supports (4) are arranged on the bottom element (3) and that the deep-fried goods supports (4 ) form an angle in the range from 30 ° to 90 ° with the base element (3) in a deep-frying position.

The invention relates to an insert for a deep fryer according to the preamble of
Claim 1.
Inserts for deep fryers are known, which are designed as basket-shaped cages. Such inserts are also known as deep-frying baskets. These inserts make it easier to insert and remove fried food in or out of a deep fryer. When deep-frying, the food to be fried usually floats on the frying agent. Care should be taken to ensure that in the case of flat fried food, such as a schnitzel, cordon bleu or breaded fillets, the fried goods do not lie on top of one another during deep-frying, since the deep-fried food presses against the fried food and only the deep-frying process at the flat contact point insufficient and / or the fried goods stick together.
The disadvantage of this is that, in particular in the case of a flat deep-fried food, the capacity of a deep-fryer is already exhausted for a few pieces of the deep-fried food, so that a correspondingly high number of deep-frying processes or deep-fryers is necessary for a large number of deep-fried goods. This is associated with a correspondingly high energy consumption and a correspondingly high amount of frying agent used, which is disadvantageous for the environment. Furthermore, the workload for such deep-fried goods is higher, since they often have to be turned at least once in order to achieve a uniform frying result on both sides.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide an insert of the type mentioned at the outset, with which the disadvantages mentioned can be avoided, with which a higher number of deep-fried goods can be fried with a higher quality but less effort and in a shorter time.
According to the invention this is achieved by the features of claim 1.
This has the advantage that a higher number of items to be fried can be fried in one fryer at a time, the quality of the frying process remaining high. The food to be fried can be inserted into the deep fryer at an angle up to vertically, so that the volume of the / 15
36748
Deep fryer can be used better. This considerably reduces the energy requirement and the consumption of frying agents. The individual fried goods remain reliably separated from each other so that they do not stick together on a contact surface. Furthermore, the food to be fried is surrounded on all sides by the deep-frying agent, so that it is not necessary to turn the food to be fried during the deep-frying process. On the one hand, this reduces the amount of work involved in frying, as well as the time required. This means that the food to be fried absorbs less fat when frying, which makes it healthier. Furthermore, due to the usual convection currents in the deep fryer, the deep-frying agent is guided evenly past the surface of the deep-fried goods, so that the deep-frying process takes place even more evenly. This allows frying to be carried out shorter and at a lower temperature than usual, which prevents the formation of harmful acrylamides.
The subclaims relate to further advantageous refinements of the invention.
Reference is hereby expressly made to the wording of the patent claims, as a result of which the claims are inserted at this point by reference into the description and are considered to be reproduced verbatim.
The invention is described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which only a preferred embodiment is shown as an example. It shows:
Figure 1 shows a preferred embodiment of the insert as a schematic representation in side view. and
Fig. 2 shows a part of the preferred embodiment of the insert as a schematic representation in plan view.
1 and 2 show at least parts of an insert 1 for a deep fryer with at least one handle element 2 and a bottom element 3. The insert 1 is intended to be inserted into a deep fryer with fried goods 6. The deep fryer is a device for deep-frying food. The deep fryer / 15
36748 has a heatable basin to be filled with the frying agent. The
Insert 1 is intended to be introduced into this basin. The
Deep frying agents, also often referred to as deep fryers, can be an oil or a fat.
The insert 1 has a grip element 2, with which the user can grip the insert even if it is largely arranged in the basin of the deep fryer. Furthermore, the insert 1 has a base element 3, which forms the underside of the insert during the deep-frying process. The base element 3 can in particular be designed in the form of a lattice, and in particular have longitudinal bars 7, and transverse bars 8 arranged transversely to the longitudinal bars 7.
It is provided that a plurality of flat deep-fried goods supports 4 are arranged on the base element 3, and that the deep-fried goods supports 4 each form an angle in the range from 30 ° to 90 ° with the base element 3 in a deep-frying position. The fried food 6, in particular a flat fried food 6 such as cutlets or fillets, can be placed on the flat fried food supports 4. In the deep-frying position, that is the position in which the deep-frying process takes place, the food items 4 have an angle in the range from 30 ° to 90 ° to the base element 3. The individual deep-fried goods supports 4 form an upper limit for the deep-fried goods underneath, as well as a lower limit for the deep-fried goods above. The deep-fried goods supports 4 thereby form a series of cages separated by the deep-fried goods supports 4, in which the deep-fried goods 6 can be fried obliquely to vertically.
This has the advantage that a higher number of items to be fried 6 can be fried in one fryer at one time, the quality of the deep-frying process remaining high. Due to the deep-fried goods supports 4, the deep-fried goods 6 can be introduced into the deep fryer at an angle to vertically, so that the volume of the deep fryer can be better used. This considerably reduces the energy requirement and the consumption of frying agents. The individual fried goods 6 remain reliably separated from one another so that they do not stick to one another on a contact surface. Furthermore, the deep-fried goods 6 are thereby surrounded on all sides by the deep-frying agent, so that it is not necessary to turn the deep-fried goods 6 during the deep-frying process. On the one hand, this reduces the amount of work involved in frying, as well as the time required. Thereby / 15
36748 the food to be fried 6 absorbs less fat when frying, which makes it healthier. Furthermore, due to the usual convection currents in the deep fryer, the deep-frying agent is guided evenly past the surface of the deep-fried goods 6, so that the deep-frying process takes place even more evenly. This allows frying to be carried out shorter and at a lower temperature than usual, which prevents the formation of harmful acrylamides.
The insert 1 can furthermore have a cage, which is arranged at least on the side, so that larger residues of the food 4 do not remain in the deep fryer.
Furthermore, the insert 1 can have a hanging device for hanging the insert 1 on the deep fryer.
The insert 1 is further provided for the use of a deep-fat fryer in batch operation, the insert 1 being arranged in the deep-fat fryer without movement apart from the introduction and removal.
The insert 1 can in particular be made of stainless steel.
The insert 1 can in particular have at least four, preferably at least eight, particularly preferably at least twelve, deep-fried goods supports 4. 1 shows a preferred embodiment with nine food items 4 for eight food items 6.
The insert can furthermore have a maximum of twenty, in particular a maximum of sixteen, deep-fried goods supports 4. As a result, the food to be fried 6 still has sufficient space for deep-frying.
It can preferably be provided that the deep-fried goods supports 4 each form an angle of up to a maximum of 55 °, in particular a maximum of 50 °, with the base element 3 in the deep-frying position. It has been shown here that in this area of the angle the quality of the food 4 after frying is particularly good and juicy, while at steeper angles the food 4 tends to become too dry. Furthermore, placing the fried food 4 is easier because it is less likely to slide down.
In particular, it can be provided that the deep-fried goods supports 4 with the / 15th
36748
Bottom element 3 in the frying position each include an angle of at least 35 °, in particular at least 40 °. This angle means that the fried goods are better spaced from one another, and convection currents can be better formed between the fried goods 6.
It can preferably be provided that the deep-fried food supports 4 are essentially designed as support grids. As a result, the frying agent can reach the food 6 from all sides.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the deep-fried goods supports 4 are arranged essentially parallel to one another in the deep-frying position. This means that the available space in the deep fryer can be used optimally.
In particular, it can be provided that the deep-fried goods support 4 are arranged to be movable independently of one another.
It can particularly preferably be provided that at least a plurality of the deep-fried goods supports 4 are connected to the base element 3 in an articulated manner. The term at least a plurality of the deep-fried goods supports 4 means here that at least one first deep-fried goods support 4, 9 can also be arranged in a fixed manner, while the remaining deep-fried goods supports 4 are articulated to the base element 3. As a result, the insertion and removal of the fried goods 4 can be carried out much more easily. In this case, at the beginning of an equipping process, all of the fried food supports 4 can first be folded away from the first fried food support 4, 9, so that a fried food 6 can be placed more easily on the first fried food support 4, 9. Then the second deep-fried food support 4, 10 immediately adjacent to the first deep-fried food support 4, 9 is folded into the deep-frying position, and a further deep-fried food 6 is placed on the second deep-fried food support 4. Then the next food item 4 is folded into the frying position and the process is repeated for the required number of items 6. The last deep-fried goods support 4 can only be provided to hold the deep-fried goods 6 underneath.
Here, the deep-fried goods supports 4 can each be connected via a joint 11 to the base element 3, in particular the cross bars 8 of the base element 3/15
36748.
The deep-fried goods supports 4 can in particular be releasably connected to the base element 3 in a predeterminable manner. In this case, the deep-fried goods supports 4 can in particular have a clip closure with which the deep-fried goods supports 4 can be clipped onto the base element 3. This simplifies the cleaning of the insert 1. Furthermore, the distances between the joints 11 can be changed in a predefinable manner, the base element 3 forming a grid.
Alternatively, it can be provided that the fried food supports 4 are non-detachably connected to the base element 3.
The joints 11 can in particular be at a distance of 2 to 5 cm from an adjacent joint 11.
2 shows the base element 3 of the preferred embodiment of the insert 11, the deep-fried goods supports 4 being omitted apart from the joints 11 for the purpose of better clarity.
Furthermore, not all features have been provided with reference numerals in FIGS. 1 and 2.
It is preferably provided that the food items 4 have a retaining device 5 for a food item 6 on a side opposite the base element 3. The restraint device 5 forms an upper limit of the cages formed by the frying material supports 4, as a result of which the frying goods 6 floating during frying cannot escape upwards.
The retention device 5 can in particular be designed as a grating segment that is angled with respect to the rest of the food item 4 to be fried.
It can particularly preferably be provided that the retaining device 5 is designed as a spacer between the food items 4 to be fried. In this case, the retaining device 5 of the second fried food support 4, 10 lies in the deep-frying position on the first fried food support 4, 9, so that the specific angle between the second fried food support 4, 10 and the base element 3 is automatically obtained.

Ί
This principle is shown in Fig. 1, where the restraint 5 of each
Deep-fried food supports 4 each rest on the preceding deep-fried food support 4, and this results in a stable arrangement of the movable deep-fried food supports 4.
Alternatively, it can be provided that the at least majority of the fried food supports 4 are connected in an articulated manner to a common connecting rod running parallel to the base element 3, so that when the connecting rod moves, all fried food supports 4 connected to the connecting rod are moved together.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the insert 1 has an adjusting device for adjusting the angle between the base element 3 and the food supports 4 in the frying position. It has been shown here that the angle between the base element 3 and the food supports 4 in the deep-frying position has an influence on the result of the deep-frying process, as a result of which a different angle is preferred depending on the food to be prepared. The angle can be adjusted as required by the adjusting device in order to improve the frying result.
The setting device can in particular be formed on the food item 4.9, so that the angle of the first food item 4.9 can be predetermined. This can be done in particular by means of a corresponding grid. The angle of the other deep-fried goods support 4 is dependent on the angle of the first deep-fried goods support 4,9 by the retaining device 5 designed as a spacer, so that a specification of the angle of the first deep-fried goods support 4,9 is sufficient to determine the angle between the base element 3 and the remaining deep-fried goods supports 4 to specify.
Alternatively, the setting device can be formed directly on the joints 11 of the food item supports 4.
